Mozaic DAO stands at a critical crossroads. This proposal recommends rebranding and restructuring Mozaic to Haiku, a next-generation DeFAI protocol designed to expand Mozaic's foundation while introducing new cutting-edge capabilities. Haiku will offer AI-powered trading solutions, scalable tokenomics, and institutional-grade products, ensuring the protocol is well-positioned to compete and thrive.

Migration Terms

The key terms of the proposed migration to Haiku are set out below:

Holders receive 1 $HKU per 1 $MOZ/$xMOZ in the Migration Pool
The Migration Pool vests 20% at TGE with the remainder monthly over 4 months
Migration calculations are based on token supply pre $140M treasury token burn (Nov'24)
There is a 6-month claim window for $HKU
You do not need to unstake your $xMOZ to be eligible for migration
Unvested and unclaimed tokens across all vesting arrangements will not be eligible for migration to $HKU
Pre-seed investors receive 25% credit for unvested tokens
Aug/Sep 2024 OTC investors will transition to the Haiku Migration pool
Hoplite NFTs are deprecated with a compensation plan
Compensation plan for Mar’24 vault hack victims
Theseus vault continues operating during the transition period

Haiku Product Suite

The following products and features will be launched under the Haiku brand:

Haiku Agent: an AI-powered assistant that enables natural language trading execution.
Haiku Classic: a comprehensive DeFAI intents-based trading tool in Alpha on Arbitrum. Enables seamless multi-token swaps, lending, borrowing, and bridging in atomic transactions. Production testing is ongoing on Base, with support for Berachain, BNB Chain and Optimism in development.
Haiku Vaults: Enhanced architecture supporting complex yield optimisation strategies, including delta-neutral solutions. Leverages Haiku’s intents for seamless operations.
Haiku Intents API: an API suite exposing trading, vaults and liquidity optimisation capabilities to wholesale clients. Currently in pilot testing.
Haiku Enterprise: a licensed solution offering institutions access to advanced trading infrastructure including backtesting capability and low-latency execution.

$HKU Token Features

Haiku's $HKU token will have the following key features:

$HKU maximum supply: 1 Billion
Voting-escrow governance ($veHKU) at TGE
Additional features subject to DAO approval include fee discounts, LP incentives, and vault incentives
Network: $HKU token will be launched on Berachain.

First snapshot (completed): January 10, 2025
Voting period: Monday January 20 to Wednesday January 23, 2025 12:00 UTC
Migration snapshot: Friday January 24, 2025 12:00 UTC
Protocol-owned liquidity for the $MOZ token will be removed at the time of the Migration snapshot
Audit is currently in progress (update from proposal document)
Staged product launch after audit completion
TGE: Upon completion of fundraising (Est. Q1 2025)

Quorum threshold: 4,000,000 $xMOZ
Approval requires 65% of vote
Upon approval, Core Contributors are authorised to implement proposal
This proposal represents the framework for resolving all claims related to the March 2024 Mozaic DAO vault hack.
