Closing of Bolts Program and ODG distribution to participants

Description - Based on the initial announcement, this was marketed as a multiple seasons but the first season ran May 23, 2024 and concluded August 21, 2024. I do not believe that it met the goals of reaching a 20K ETH TVL but it does appear that it expanded the reach of the protocol. Based on current token allocations and the cap table at ODG launch, 700,000 ODG were allocated to Future Community Distributions. Due to the outcome of this points program, 70,000 ODG (10% of the Community Distribution allocation) is an appropriate amount with the following tiered rewards.

ODG distributions estimated on assuming 100 Keepers as an example:

Top 10% of Keepers (28,000 Total ODG - 40% of budget) - 2800 ODG per address

11-25% of Keepers (21,000 Total ODG - 30% of budget) - 840 ODG per address

26-50% of Keepers (14,000 Total ODG - 20% of budget) - 560 ODG per address

Remaining 51% of Keepers (7,000 Total ODG - 10% of budget) - 140 ODG per address

Final numbers would be dependent on the points program, another example if there are 70 Keepers: Top 10% of Keepers (28,000 Total ODG - 40% of budget) - 4000 ODG per address for 7 Keepers

11-25% of Keepers (21,000 Total ODG - 30% of budget) - 2100 ODG per address 10 Keepers

26-50% of Keepers (14,000 Total ODG - 20% of budget) - 777.78 ODG per address 18 Keepers

Remaining 51% of Keepers (7,000 Total ODG - 10% of budget) - 200 ODG per address 35 Keepers

Motivation - The Open Dollar community should implement the proposal to build additional trust with the community and distribute addition governance by completing this marketing program.

Specifications - There shouldn’t be any additional platforms and technologies that will be used.

Steps to Implement - The steps to implement the proposal, including associated costs, manpower, and other resources for each step where applicable.

The cost to the DAO Treasury would be 70,000 ODG which is 10% of the original Future Community Distribution budget.

There would also be costs for the DAO operations to distribute the tokens as well as developer and marketing/communication costs for sunsetting the Bolts page. Sunsetting for Bolts page might turn into an “Earn” page based on the outcome of the OD Minter Rewards proposal.

Marketing/Communications should announce the ending of the program with posts in support social channels.

Timeline- Should be a short timeline with few additional steps or resources.

Overall Cost - The total cost to the DAO treasury will be 70,000 ODG.
